reakfast: A full gourmet breakfast is included with your room rate. Specialties include tarragon and cream cheese scrambled eggs in a crepe topped with a béchamel sauce, spiced pumpkin waffles with calvados Asian pears, lemon poppy pancakes with a mapled blueberry coulis, homemade muffins and breads, breakfast meats, fresh fruits, juices, and hot coffee or tea. Breakfast is served by candlelight in the original dining room of our 1829 home. We promise that you will not go away hungry. inner: A four-course dinner, prepared by Chef John Stallard and served by candlelight in the original dining room of our 1829 home, is a wonderful way to begin your evening or relax at the end of the day. The evening meal will feature such items as Crab Stuffed Chicken, New York Striploin, Parmesan Encrusted Grouper and Pan Seared Duck Breast. All entrees served with Chef's Soup du Jour, Salad, Homemade Dessert and coffee or tea. An excellent selection of Virginia wines is also available at an additional cost. We promise an exquisite dining experience with the ambiance required for that special occasion.
Dinner is available Monday thru Saturday between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., subject to the availability of Chef John. A 24-hour notice of menu selections is normally required. Menus are subject to change and will be designed to make the most of seasonally available specialities. Price: $35 per person plus gratuity and taxes.

icnic Lunch: By prior arrangement, a picnic will be prepared for you to take along on a day trip, or to enjoy while relaxing on the guest patio, or to take with you while traveling to your next destination.
