amed for J. Y. Clark who purchased Stoneridge from the McCluer family in 1884, this room, our largest, is on the first floor of the north wing. A private enclosed porch opens onto the outdoor patio surrounded by the raised-bed flower and herb garden. Also known as the Garden Room, this room is decorated in soft greens and peach tones and offers views of the mountains, forests, meadows, and gardens. The room features a rope-carved cherry four-poster queen bed, elaborate wainscoting, a jetted tub for two with a view of the gas-log fireplace surrounded by beautifully carved woodwork, and a private bath with a shower over tub.
